RIDING LYNX
My go-to ride is the Shredder DS 3900, which is powered by the Rotax 850 E-TEC Turbo R engine. It’s a perfect engine for tackling the steepest and deepest terrains, thanks to its great track, suspension, and narrow 34-inch front end. I mostly ride in the Swedish mountains, always on the lookout for new spots to explore. But, if I had to pick a favorite, it'd definitely be the Rocky Mountains in Canada and the USA. Representing Lynx is a huge honor for me. They make top-notch machines and accessories for riders who like to push the limits. Trust me, when you're going hard in the backcountry, you want gear you can rely on.
STARTING OUT
My snowmobiling journey started when I was just four or five, riding our '76 Ockelbo 600 near our cabin in the Swedish mountains. I was a bit intimidated at first, but riding with my older cousins soon turned that fear into an obsession. When we started filming our Northern Light Films videos in 2014, that's when I really started to hone my skills, both in riding and capturing all the action on camera. Things escalated quickly from there, leading me to work with big brands and travel the world.
LIVING SISU
When I was 17, I got a wake-up call about the risks involved in this sport in the form of a back compression injury. In the end, it only fueled my determination to get fitter and continue riding at my desired level. This experience shifted my focus from jumping and snowcross to more freeriding and filming. Sure, there have been setbacks like injuries and failed plans, but my love for the sport keeps me going. For me, sisu means pushing yourself to embrace adventures and step out of your comfort zone, no matter whether you're a young daredevil or a 70-year-old adventurer. Snowmobiling is tough, but it's all about the people you ride with. Having a crew you trust and share a bond with makes tackling challenges a whole lot easier.
